So, as some of you may have read and watched, we are implementing the "cash envelope" system in our home.

Basically, this means that we use cash for all our purchases including; groceries, gas, entertainment, food out and daily miscellaneous.  I have wanted to do this for quite some time, but frankly, was too lazy and too convinced it would not really help!

I WAS WRONG!!

More on that later!

However, today was my first trip to the Grocery store with only cash in hand.  I brought my weekly allotted budget in cash and that was all I had!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!  I spent below my budget again and left with $10 in my pocket!  I am sure that $10 will get put to use for things we may run out of during the week or things I may have forgotten, but I was thrilled I did not come up negatory!!!!

This week's meal plan is simple and shorter as one night we do left overs and two nights this week we will be out.

Here is what I came up with!!
BREAKFAST
*Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Syrup
*Bagels
*Cereal
*Eggs
*Toast

DINNERS:
*Cheeseburger Sliders and Homemade Fries
*Goulash, Garlic Toast and Salad
*Chicken in a Biscuit (I did not end up making this last week, so I still had the ingredients!)
*Tacos/ Nachos
* Left Overs
*Dinner out X2

LUNCHES:
*Buttered Noodles
*Peanut Butter and Jelly
*Cheese Quesadillas
*Grilled Cheese
*Mac and Cheese
*Ham or Turkey and Cheese sandwich
Chips, apples, bananas,

BON APPETIT!!!

Peace and Blessings

There's a lot of cheese going on there. Your meal is kind of a little unhealthy, starting your day with a junk food. Well it's your food plan, I wanted to you that you have to lessen the intake of junk food. Remember to stay healthy.

Her next dinner plan was quite remarkable, however their plan was quite good and would definitely help them to complete their work and her first week with cash only was a good experience.
