Thursday is my normal grocery shopping day.  I chose Thursdays because I often fine two days sales start on Thursdays and if you don't get there the first day, they tend to be out of some of the items I wanted to get.

By Wednesday, I am often out of even staples and I am beginning to hear the ever dreaded sighing and relentless slamming of the pantry and fridge door as my children desperately search from some morsel to put in their orifice.

I did pretty well with my budget and actually stayed under my $160 for food and household items.  I was also able to purchase more food than usual due to some of the great sales at our local grocery store.  I could have done even better if a certain 2 year old with piggy tails wasn't along for the ride!! LOL  Yes, I got hornswaggled into a box of Bomb Pops that were not on sale, nor did I have a coupon for!!

I purchase groceries to supply food for 5 dinners,( as one night is left overs and Friday nights we go out), breakfast daily for all household members, and daily lunch for all household members. My son and husband often pack their lunch, though my son may eat school lunch 1-2 times per week.  So, if you figure it, that averages about $7.90 per meal, which in turn figures to be about $1.31 per person, per meal.  I don't think that is too bad!!!

My weekly menu plans run Friday-Friday!  Here's a peek into my next week!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have a hard time finding a day to get everything we need at home. I usually shop when our supplies are low. Most of the time we just make do with what we have. What you shared will surely help me in our next shopping trip. I can't wait.

Online stores revolutionized the way people shop. With a click of a mouse they could buy almost anything online.

This is interesting to compare your plan to mine. It is quiet peculiar sometimes.

For the majority of guys, entering a perfume shop to buy perfume is not a very common occurrence. The majority of males will be happy with a can of deodorant or antiperspirant to look after their fragrance needs. However, there are two occasions when guys will definitely enter a perfume store or online perfume store in search of the right scent.
